HERSERLEF is the latest spot to join the blooming café scene in Klang Valley. But what sets it apart from the others is the pricing structure.
**Customers are charged at RM0.18 per minute, but after 90 minutes there, the base rate is set at RM16.20, regardless of how long one stays.**
That means if you stay the whole day to work there, you'll only have to pay a total of RM16.20 a day, inclusive of free-flow coffee and snacks.

Co-founders of HERSERLEF told [Vulcan Post](https://vulcanpost.com/615144/cafe-herserlef-time-based-sri-petaling/) the concept was made popular by Ziferblat, a European-based chain where customers pay for the time spent there, rather than the food.
**They also don't see HERSERLEF as a café, but more of a hybrid between a co-working space and a café.**

HERSERLEF is able to keep their prices low by minimising cost. Customers make their own coffee and tea and they're expected to clean up after themselves as well.

Aside from being a co-working space, HERSERLEF also functions as an event space where customers can host birthday parties and baby showers
