These Gooey Japanese Cheese Tarts Have Arrived In Malaysia And OMG JUST GIMME
Diets don't matter when these baked wonders exist. *drool*
Cheese is love, cheese is life... and these melty, gooey cheese tarts from a newly-opened cafe in PJ totally gets where we're coming from!
Tokyo Secret, which has just opened its doors in Ikano Power Centre on 28 May, specialises in half-baked Japanese-inspired cheese tarts
What's so special about these cheese tarts, you ask? Well, for one, warm molten cheese starts oozing out of the tarts the moment you take a bite out of the flaky crust!
Plus, the vast amounts of cheese used in the creation of these baked wonders are imported from Japan.
Seriously, just look at all that cheesy goodness. We kinda want to just smoosh our faces into the tart... :p
Here's the best part - the cheese tarts are freshly baked in batches, so you can be sure that you'll get a piping hot piece whenever you walk in!
Don't worry if you're buying it to-go, the cheese remains soft even when cooled to room temperature.
You can also have it chilled, which gives the tart a cheesecake-like texture.
The tarts cost RM7.90 apiece. A little pricey for tarts, but totally worth it because... CHEESE. *heart eyes*
Besides their to-die-for cheese tarts, Tokyo Secrets also offers their own brand of affogato and soft serve varieties with funky names such as Maple Volcano, Fujiyama Winter, Uji Frost, and Kyoto Matcha
