A 21-Year-Old Hanged Himself To Death In Kuantan After Failing His Driving Test

He had disappeared upon receiving his result.

A man from Kuantan took his life by hanging himself from a mangosteen tree after he failed his driving test

According to a report in NST Online, the man had gone to the Kuantan Driving Academy at Batu 6, Jalan Gambang, to sit for his Road Transport Department (RTD) driving test.

The 21-year-old, however, disappeared after he failed the test on 17 November.

His body was found six days after he went missing

The body, badly decomposed and hanging from a mangosteen tree in a fruit orchard in Kuantan, was discovered by a member of the public on Thursday.

After finding the body, he immediately alerted the Beserah police station.

A police team which arrived at the scene brought down the deceased's body, which was then sent to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA) for a post-mortem.

His family members had lodged a police report after their search for him came up empty-handed

According to Kuantan police Chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Aziz Salleh, the man had left his family home at Taman Datuk Rashid at 8am on 17 November.

The police have classified the case as sudden death, NST Online reported.
