Car Thieves Kill 39-Year-Old Woman In Deadly Accident On SILK Highway

The thieves had stolen the vehicle two hours earlier from a home in Taman Cheras Perdana
"A complainant said that her house in Taman Cheras Perdana was broken into, and that two men ran away with her father’s car, a white Toyota Estima," said Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussoff as quoted by The Star Online.
At about 7.10am, traffic police were alerted about a fatal accident involving the stolen Toyota Estima.
Investigations revealed that the car thieves were speeding along the highway before crashing into the back of the Proton Saga, killing the 39-year-old woman driver.
The Estima was left at the scene while the car thieves managed to escape
A post-mortem conducted at Serdang Hospital revealed the woman had died from severe head injuries.
Dzaffir said he had deployed his men to conduct checks at hospitals and clinics nearby to see if the suspects had seek treatment.
He also urged witnesses to come forward to help facilitate investigation.
