Meet The Chinese Couple Whose Combined Weight Is 400 Kilograms

They are now undergoing weight-loss training so they can have sex.

Lin Yue and his wife Deng Yang reveal that married life had been difficult right from the start when, they said, they could not find a wedding dress big enough for the bride and had to have one specially made.

The pair who both work in south-west China's Sichuan Province this week travelled to Changchun, capital of north-eastern Jilin Province, in order to undergo treatment for rapid weight loss.

Lin is a worker while his wife is a nurse. Lin is 163 cm tall and his waist measures 160 cm around. Meanwhile, Deng is a bit shorter at 160 cm tall, but her waist measures 170 cm, reports Tencent.

Their weight has caused them a lot of problems in public as, in China, obesity is frowned upon.

Lin and Deng have tried to stay home as much as possible to avoid gossip and ordered most of their food and clothing online. However, the couple now wants to have a child and feels that losing weight will help them conceive.

At the unnamed hospital in Changchun, they had their measurements taken and have been put on a fitness and diet regime. It is not clear whether the couple will also receive surgical help.
