In the video that has since been reshared over 5,000 times on Facebook, a grey Proton Wira was seen cutting into the outer left lane where the ambulance was travelling on from a junction.
**The St. John ambulance did not manage to stop in time and crashed into the car.**

According to China Press, the accident occurred on 21 January near a three-way intersection in Sungai Petani.
**The ambulance was speeding towards Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital when it crashed into the car. It was carrying two people who sustained injuries from a motorcycle accident.**
Thankfully, no one sustained any injuries and the driver was able to request for another ambulance to carry the injured patients to the hospital

**The police confirmed that the Proton Wira driver had broken traffic laws and is currently under investigation for reckless driving.**
