Man's Dismembered Legs And Headless Torso Found Inside A Flour Sack In Penang

In an absolutely gruesome discovery, a Penangite came across a flour sack dumped in a canal in Sungai Bakap, Penang, yesterday afternoon, 27 November. The flour sack was carrying severed legs chopped off at the knees, and a headless torso of a man.

After stumbling upon the flour sack, he alerted the police

Penang CID deputy chief Asst Comm P.R. Gunarajan said the victim was clad only in a dark coloured long pants with a belt.

He said there were multiple stab wounds on his chest and abdomen, adding that the body was sent to the Seberang Jaya Hospital for a post-mortem.

Three days ago, a coffee shop owner had found a severed head with both its ears missing outside his shop in Bukit Mertajam, about 20km away. Now police are investigating whether the body and the head were those of the same person, said Gunarajan.
