Man In Ipoh Almost Set His Friend On Fire After Petrol Nozzle Suddenly Burst Into Flames

In a recent viral video, a petrol spout suddenly burst into flames while a man was filling up his car at a gas station in Ipoh

CCTV footage showed two men exiting their car to fill petrol. The driver was casually chatting with his friend while filling up when the petrol nozzle suddenly caught fire.

Out of reflex, he immediately pulled it out of his car. It proved to be the wrong thing to do, as the still-flowing nozzle splashed petrol everywhere, causing the fire to spread all over the ground and almost set his friend on fire.

Fortunately, his friend managed to run away from the fire while alert bystanders ran out to quickly extinguish it

Thankfully, the fire died down without any explosion and no serious injuries were reported.

It was believed to have been caused by his car engine being left on as he was filling up petrol.
