[PHOTOS] 'Snowfall' In KL As Major Hailstorm Wreaks Havoc

A massive hailstorm hit parts of KL on Friday evening, 3 June

It caused widespread damage to property as trees and signboards fell on cars in Bukit Jalil and Seri Kembangan/Serdang area

Interiors of a Standard Chartered office were also heavily damaged

The high-intensity hailstorm even damaged a petrol station

The ERL KLIA Express power line was also damaged, forcing the service to be suspended until further notice. LRT operations from Cheras to Sri Petaling have stopped

According to Astro Radio news, authorities say the thunderstorm also caused flash floods in parts of Kuala Lumpur, bringing the city to a halt, with motorists having to deal with massive traffic jams
