This Bus Stop In Singapore Has Free WiFi, Books, And Even A Swing

You find ways to entertain yourself, like dancing.
But waiting for the bus need not be such a pain, at least for lucky commuters in Singapore

Desired "to make waiting fun", the one-of-a-kind bus stop is located in Jurong East allows commuters to **enjoy a slew of features that no other stops have.**
Project Bus Stop, is a prototype conceived by a group of architects from DP Architects to re-imagine the daily commuting experience, and how people "transit, interact and socialise"
For starters, the bus stop provides **free WiFi and handphone charging points** so you can play Pokémon GO without having to worry your battery or data will run dry.

If you're more of a reader, there's **a rack of books geared for all ages**, from Enid Blyton to Ray Bradbury. Do make sure you put 'em back after you're done!

The bus stop also comes equipped with interactive smart boards that provide content and bus arrival timings

There's also a **journey planner** that's useful for tourists who require directions to navigate around the Lion City.
On top of that, there's a rooftop garden, solar panels, bicycle parking, and even a swing! #jealous

Singaporean illustrator Lee Xin Li's artwork is also showcased in the bus stop.

The project was set up in August 2016 and will be operational for a year. The public are welcomed to share their experiences of using the bus stop with the government.

The feedback received will help the involved parties understand and ascertain the merits and value of the various features for consideration in the planning and design of bus stops going forward.
