State Elections: EC Sets 12 August As Polling Day

There are six states, Selangor, Kedah, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan, and Terengganu, that are going to the polls.

12 August has been fixed as the polling day for six states, Election Commission chairperson Abdul Ghani Salleh announced today, 5 July

The six states going to the polls are Selangor, Kedah, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan, and Terengganu.

The nomination day has been set for 29 July, with a campaigning period of 14 days.

Early voting will take place on 8 August
