The visitors - identified as Ramadhan Sinclair (real name is Ramadhan Sukrikhan), Hidayat Kamal, and Ahmad Faris - were exposed for misbehaving at the Vitti Lodge & Family Apartment in Osaka, Japan. Evidence surfaced on social media showing how one of them had used profanities and physically assaulted a staff identified as Muhd Abdul Qaiyum.

In the video that has gone viral on social media, Qaiyum, clad in a blue t-shirt, can be seen confronting the two of the three friends for going against the guesthouse rules of not permitting visitors to cook past a certain hour. Ramadhan was furious after listening to this and proceeded to rough up and assault Qaiyum, while Hidayat Kamal who appeared later in the video lost his cool and punched the kitchen wall in anger.

It is learned that Ramadhan, a citizen of Thailand, and his two Malaysians friends were on a trip together. They were stranded in Japan after missing their flight back to Malaysia due to some miscommunication, and the owner at Vitti lodge had offered them free accommodation until they are able to make arrangements to get to their next destination.

The incident went viral after Facebook user Wan Iskandar shared a post with video and photos of it.

He shared the post, seeking for damage claims from three individuals for allegedly damaging a wall, defecating into the drainage hole of a shower room at the premise, and roughing up a staff member, among others.

It was said that Ema Vitti, the Italian owner of Vitti Lodge & Family Apartment made a police report and the case also attracted the attention of Japanese media.

Ramadhan has since wrote a public apology and shared it across his social media accounts

In the posts, he apologised to all Malaysians, especially to Qaiyum, for his violent conduct and vulgar words he used towards the staff.

Ramadhan also said that he and his friends assumed all responsibilities for all the damages they inflicted and will "try their very best" to pay the lodging management the amount of losses incurred.

He also apologised for the incident relating to the defecation in the shower room but he denied having anything to do with it.

"It is up to you whether to believe me or not. I will strive to be a better person after this and I will watch my conduct wherever I go," he added.

However, the Vitti Lodge & Family Apartment management is unwilling to accept the apology

mStar reported today, 21 August, that the management is still waiting for Ramadhan to come up with an apology and it must be in the form of a video recording.

According to Muhammad Soffi Roslan, manager at the homestay, Ramadhan has yet to make any official apology to Vitti Lodge & Family Apartment and he said that the management he said that the management does not think this matter is resolved until an apology is made through a video and until the damages are settled.

Muhammad Soffi said that Ramadhan had sent him screenshots of the written apology made on Facebook through WhatsApp but he said that "anyone could have written the status".

"It is only through a video that he can prove that he has apologised to the management and is truly sorry for his actions," he added.

Earlier, Hidayat Kamal made a public apology which was recorded as a video. The public video was shared on Vitti Lodge & Family Apartment's Facebook page.

Muhammad Soffi said that the management accepted his apology and took pity on Ahmad Faris, who is said to have only been there at the wrong place and wrong time.
