A Man Was Gang-Raped For Three Days By A Group Of Women After Getting Into A Taxi

The women subjected the man to a campaign of abuse for three days.

A young man has been left traumatised after he was allegedly drugged and raped by a gang of three women in an ordeal that lasted for three days

The 23-year-old victim had hailed a communal taxi in eastern Pretoria, South Africa, when he first encountered his alleged abusers, according to South African daily Times Live.

The car started navigating in a different direction and he was ordered to sit in the front

The man was then forcibly injected with a substance. It’s not known what it was, but it reportedly caused him to immediately pass out.

When he woke up, the man found himself locked in a room where he was allegedly raped by the trio

"He stated that he woke up in an unfamiliar room on a single bed. The female suspects then allegedly forced the man to drink an energy drink‚ before taking turns raping him numerous times a day," South African Police Service Captain Colette Weilbach told Times Live.

The victim was later dumped semi-naked in a field, where he managed to flag down a passing car

“The South African Police Service take all sexual offences seriously regardless of the gender of the victim involved. We assure all victims of these types of sexual crimes that we will carry out robust investigations to bring all the offenders to justice," said Weilbach.

The police are currently seeking help from the public to locate the offenders.

But despite the police’s reassurances, many in the country still don’t feel enough is done for male victims of sexual violence

Rees Mann, of the South African Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse, said nearly 20% of sexual violations reported were on men.

He said, "Male victims are much less likely than females to report sexual abuse because police don't take it seriously."
