According to Utusan Online, Lokman lodged the report at the Putrajaya District Police Headquarters at around 3pm today.

"I want the police to investigate the authenticity of the videos, who has been spreading the videos, and also the 'actors' involved," the UMNO supreme council member was quoted as saying by The Star

The videos, which showed two men having homosexual intercourse, went viral on WhatsApp earlier today

One of the men in the video resembled a federal minister.

China Press reported that the videos were posted on a WhatsApp group named 'Jemputan Hari Raya' this morning, before making their way to other social media platforms.

It is believed that the incident occurred in a hotel room abroad as the sound of a foreign news bulletin could be heard in the videos.

Nonetheless, Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad denied any knowledge of the videos

"I don't know anything about this... I just heard about it," Mahathir was quoted as saying by The Malaysian Insight after chairing the Economic Action Council meeting in Putrajaya.

"It is also good if you can brief me," the Prime Minister replied to a reporter who had asked about the videos, drawing laughter from the ministers who were present at the press conference today.

Meanwhile, Lokman also called on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to investigate the alleged minister over a suspicious transaction made in 2017

Free Malaysia Today reported Lokman as claiming that he obtained a bank document from a source, which showed a transaction of USD741,440 (approximately RM3.1 million) from UEM, a construction company to the cabinet minister.

"We are making this report to give a chance to the new MACC chief to prove that she is not biased (in investigation)," Lokman was quoted as saying by Free Malaysia Today.
