Celcom Has Responded To The Nationwide Outage That Happened This Morning

It has been reported that the outage happened at 6.45am.

This morning, 13 June, Celcom users nationwide woke up to an unexpected network outage when they found that they could not make any calls nor use data services

Celcom users have been complaining since early morning via various social media channels. The general complaint is that calls cannot be made and data services unusable.

According to Lowyat.net, the mass network outage occurred at around 6.45am.

Celcom has posted an update regarding the outage. The telco said services are back to normal in Peninsular Malaysia while East Malaysia will recover in the next hour.

The Axiata-owned company also explained that the outage happened due to a "troubled network upgrade".

Webe, RedOne, and Tunetalk users have also experienced similar outages

It has been reported that the three telcos were affected because they are under Celcom's infrastructure.
