Microseconds later, the vehicle in front of the Tesla rammed an SUV, which then flipped over before quickly coming to a stop.

The Tesla was able to stop just in time, preventing itself from getting into the collision in front.

According to CNBC, nobody was hurt in the accident.

The Tesla Autopilot is a driver assist technology on Tesla cars. It includes features such as auto-steer, adaptive cruise control, cameras on all sides of the car, and most importantly -a radar.

A Tesla representative confirmed with CNBC that the beeping heard in the video just before the accident is the sound of Autopilot's Forward Collision Warning.

What is Forward Collision Warning?

The new feature was rolled out in Tesla's recent software update for the Autopilot mode in its vehicles. One of the main benefits enabled by the new radar processing capacity is the ability for the system to see ahead of the car and anticipate any sudden movements.
