ALESSO Cancels KL Concert Due To Health Reasons Over Intense Tour Schedule
The Swedish DJ has also cancelled the remaining dates of his world tour.
Global electronic music icon ALESSO has canceled his highly anticipated concert in Kuala Lumpur, originally set for 17 January, due to health concerns
Concert organiser Livescape announced that the Swedish DJ has made the difficult decision to cancel not only his Malaysian stop, but also the remaining dates of his world tour.
"This decision follows medical recommendations after an intense touring schedule. ALESSO has been advised to take a much-needed break to focus on his health and wellbeing," read the statement on 4 January.

This marks the first time in his 14-year career ALESSO has had to cancel a tour
"Touring is both exhilarating and demanding, often placing significant strain on performing artistes' physical and mental health. While their dedication to fans fuels unforgettable experiences, maintaining their health is essential for a sustainable career.
"We fully support ALESSO during this time and wish him a speedy recovery," said Livescape.
According to EDM.com, ALESSO has been announcing show cancellations due to health concerns and exhaustion since December 2024.
All ticket holders for the Malaysian show should automatically receive ticket refunds within 14 working days
"We appreciate [ticket holders'] patience as we process the refunds. The refund amounts will be reflected in their accounts," assured Livescape.
