Korean television network SBS recently released 41 contestant profiles for their upcoming show, Universe Ticket
According to Soompi, a Korean entertainment media outlet, the show will follow the lives of 82 contestants, also known as trainees.
Each week, they will compete against one another, and contestants will advance based on public voting.
By the end of the show, only eight of the 82 trainees will win a spot to debut in an upcoming K-pop girl group managed by new entertainment company, F&F Entertainment.

Among the 41 contestant profiles released by SBS is an 18-year-old Malaysian girl, Alyssa
While most of her personal information has yet to be revealed, a fan page of the show tweeted that the Malaysian trainee has always loved K-pop.
According to the page, Alyssa is a fan of various K-pop groups, including fromis_9, EXO, NCT, THE BOYZ, Golden Child, aespa, and IVE.
She also prefers the nickname 'Aly'.

The premise of Universe Ticket is expected to be similar to that of popular K-pop survival shows Produce 48 and Girls Planet 999
What distinguishes the show from others is that the contestants come from all over the world, not just South Korea and Japan.
Soompi also reported that the new girl group formed as a result of the show will only have a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Former DIA member Kwon Chae Won, also known as Eunchae, and trot singer Lim Seo Won are among the notable contestants who will compete against Alyssa in Universe Ticket.
