J-Rock Band FLOW Shares What Fans Can Expect From Their Upcoming Show In Malaysia
FLOW will be among six music acts performing at Zepp KL for SACRA MUSIC FES. 2024 this 3 February.
"We are fighting dreamers!"
That is the iconic line from GO!!!, the fourth opening of Naruto, by none other than FLOW, who is set to perform in Malaysia next month.
The legendary J-rock band — along with ASCA, spira spica, Who-ya extended, and Akase Akari — will be performing at Zepp KL for SACRA MUSIC FES. 2024 this 3 February.
Other than GO!!!, FLOW is also the band behind many Naruto songs, such as Re: Member, Sign, and Niji no Sora, as well as Colors from Code Geass.
SAYS interviewed FLOW's vocalist Keigo and guitarist Take to give anisong fans a glimpse into what they can expect from the band's upcoming performance in Malaysia, especially after their last show here nine years ago.
Below is a clip of FLOW performing GO!!!:
"Nine years have passed since the last time I visited, but I'm really looking forward to going to Malaysia again. I can't wait to meet everyone soon," said Keigo
The 46-year-old vocalist said he's excited to be part of SACRA MUSIC FES. this time, saying, "Malaysians bring such incredible energy to the live shows, so I'm really looking forward to it."
Keigo also acknowledged local fans' grasp on the Japanese language as they have witnessed firsthand fans singing along during their past performances in 2012 and 2015.
"Everyone has a great understanding of the Japanese language. It's truly heartwarming to see such a profound appreciation for Japanese culture — be it anime, music, or live performances," he added.
When asked if FLOW has made any special preparations for SACRA MUSIC FES. 2024, guitarist Take said they will be performing new songs, as well as songs from past animes.
Side note: Naruto is gearing up to release four "brand new" episodes, and FLOW is expected to deliver the 20-year-anniversary version of GO!!! for the opening. Fingers crossed, maybe fans can get to hear that? ٩(◕‿◕。)۶

Other than their much-anticipated return to Malaysia, we also asked FLOW what their favourite Malaysian food is
Speaking like a true anime protagonist, Take said, "Satay and beer are the best!"
He added that he is also excited for mee goreng, nasi goreng, and bak kut teh.
As for Keigo, he also shares Take's love for satay and nasi goreng, but told SAYS that he would like to explore more local food.
Now that you know this, be sure to stalk their Instagram account and tell them where should they go to get their midnight fixes when they are here.
