Olivia Rodrigo has donated all profits of her ticket sales in Philippines to a local non-profit organisation

The 21-year-old singer performed in a sold-out concert at the massive Philippine Arena in Manila last Saturday, 5 October. The venue is the largest indoor arena in the world and holds 55,000 people, making it the largest crowd of Rodrigo's career.

The concert also made history with a record-breaking 745,000 fans joining the virtual queue to buy tickets for Rodrigo's first-ever show in the country. Ticket prices were uniformly set at an affordable 1,500 Philippine pesos (approximately RM113), inclusive of taxes and fees. Meanwhile, concert tickets for her Singapore shows reached up to SGD308 (approximately RM1,0112).

Rodrigo, who is part Filipino, penned a heartfelt message on Instagram after the concert, thanking her fans in Manila, and announced that all net profits will be donated to Jhpiego, a Philippines-based women's organisation that her charity initiative, Fund 4 Good, has partnered with.

"I got to visit the organisation while I was in Manila and was so impressed by the work they are doing providing healthcare to women and girls in the Philippines," the singer wrote.

"It was the most special show and the most meaningful trip. To say I'm grateful doesn't even cut it! Mahal kita (I love you)."

The three-time Grammy winner's Fund 4 Good has partnered with charities all over the world throughout the GUTS World Tour, committed to building an equitable and just future for women and girls.
