Film producer and director Syamsul Yusof recently went viral after a video of his golden Lamborghini going up in smoke was posted on TikTok

In the 11-second clip shared by user @cmfavorite, Syamsul can be seen stepping out of his smoke-engulfed vehicle and walking around it in the middle of the road.

Syamsul, who was wearing a black cap and smoking a cigarette, also appears to be investigating the condition of his car.

"Abang Sol's (Syamsul's nickname) Lambo is smoking, is it?" the user wrote in the video.

The true cause of the incident, however, wasn't revealed.

At the time of writing, the TikTok video has garnered 1.4 million views, receiving mixed reactions and speculations from netizens

One user pointed out that the car in the video was the one that Syamsul's ex-wife, Puteri Sarah Liyana, had previously mentioned he was very proud of.

According to Puteri Sarah, after they divorced, Syamsul refused to sell his Lamborghini to pay for child support.

"I didn't even request a penny from our divorce settlement. You could just sell your Lambo that you're so proud of to pay for child support. What's the use of so many cars? Sell them and pay for child support," wrote the actress in her Instagram Story.

Some users said the car smoking incident is due to kifarah (karma).

Meanwhile, one user expressed sympathy for Syamsul, commenting that people should not discuss Syamsul's relationship with his former wife.

"Pity him. Everyone makes mistakes, we can't wish for something bad to happen to him," they wrote.

"Maybe that's a dengue hotspot and Sol is fogging the area," wrote another in jest.
