"I Salute Your Spirit" – Zazzleen Moves Ziana Zain To Tears In 'Calpis Soda OIAM'
Such a heartfelt performance!
Calpis Soda One In A Million (CSOIAM) judge Ziana Zain was moved to tears by contestant Zazzleen in the fourth episode of the reality show last night, 12 January
Zazzleen performed Gelombang by Salamiah Hassan and Suatu Masa by M Nasir, two love songs for the episode's theme, Musical Synergy.
Before her performance, a clip of Zazzleen sharing her struggle as a single mother was played.
"As a single mother, I can't afford everything my children want. They always ask me for new toys, and I tell them I will buy them for them once I'm rich.
"Then, they ask me, 'When will you be rich?' I told them once I become the champion of CSOIAM, I will buy them everything. In response, they pray for me to become the champion."
Facing the challenges of not having a vehicle and financial struggles, she expressed hope that winning the show would turn her life around.
Tears were seen streaming down Zazzleen's face during her emotional performance. Watch a snippet of her performance below:

With a shaky voice, Ziana said she understands being a single mother is not easy.
"But you have a strong heart. I understand it's not easy when you have two children you have to care for and there's no one to help you.
"I know you put on a thick skin to compete [in the show] for the sake of the children. I salute your spirit. You have a very unique voice," said the 56-year-old singer, who is also a single mother of four.
Ziana mentioned that, aside from missing a few notes due to her emotional state during the performance, she wished Zazzleen the best and hoped she would advance to the next round.

The fourth episode of CSOIAM saw the elimination of Rezza Shah and Alya Mardien
Six contestants remain, and they will be gearing up for next week's theme, Evolusi AJL.
