1 Utama Appears To Be Getting Its Car Park Machines Upgraded
Yay, finally.
Good news for regulars at 1 Utama! The mall appears to be upgrading its parking system, aiming to make things easier and more convenient for drivers.
According to a recent post shared by @MyShoppingMal on X, a new number plate recognition (LPR) parking system has been installed at the popular shopping centre.
While it's not up and running just yet, this upgrade could significantly change how visitors enter and exit the mall's car park.

The LPR system uses cameras to automatically scan vehicle number plates, offering a ticketless and smoother parking experience. No more worrying about losing your parking ticket!
1 Utama adjusted its parking rates in October 2024
For ONECARD members: Parking costs RM2 (up from RM1) for the first four hours, with subsequent hours also charged at twice the previous rate.
For non-ONECARD users: Rates have increased to RM4 (up from RM3) for the first four hours, with RM2 for each additional hour.
While the upgraded parking system may make things more efficient, these new rates are something to keep in mind during your next visit!
