Sorry, ladies. The Internet-famous prince, who has often been praised for his good looks and referred to as one of Asia's "most eligible bachelors", is officially off the market.

Aside from having a killer jawline and abs, the 32-year-old prince is a trained helicopter pilot and a Major in the Royal Brunei Air Force.

His now-wife, who is 29 years old, is the granddaughter of one of the Sultan's special advisors, Pehin Dato Is — the founding chairman of the Royal Brunei Airlines. She is reportedly the owner of a local fashion and tourism company, according to BBC.

During the ceremony, Prince Mateen wore a ceremonial uniform while his wife, Anisha, wore a diamond tiara and a long white dress adorned with jewels

The wedding celebration commenced on 7 January at the Istana Nurul Iman palace, with the highlight being the reception held on Sunday, 14 January, at the Sultanate Palace Istana Nurul Iman.

During the official Islamic solemnisation on 11 January, Anisha wore a white hijab and white baju kurung, which was designed by Malaysian designer Teh Firdaus, who shared photos of the attire on Instagram.

During another royal ceremony, known as Berbedak Pengantin Diraja, the couple arrived separately in bright red Malay wedding suits, as reported by CNN.

The entire 10-day celebration ended on Tuesday, 16 January.

Approximately 5,000 attendees were reported to have participated in the initial ceremony, which included dignitaries from Saudi Arabia and Jordan, along with Indonesia's President Joko Widodo and Philippine president, Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

The pair had announced their engagement in October 2023 after reportedly dating for years

Not much has been disclosed about their dating life.

Prince Mateen is the sixth in line of succession to the Bruneian throne.
