The Prime Minister's Department has launched an online platform which allows Malaysians to provide their honest feedback on the federal ministers — including the prime minister and his deputies

During his trip to Jakarta, Indonesia, on 8 January, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the initiation of a 100-day KPI (Key performance indicator) for his ministers.

Maintaining the promise of an implementation of this evaluation, a survey, which is available on MyTinjauan Madani, was created to allow the federal administration to gauge public perception of the ministers' performance 100 days into the formation of the unity government.

The platform allows the opportunity for citizens to provide their feedback to 28 ministers — including 25 ministers and three agencies under the Prime Minister's Department.

Aspects of the evaluation would be based on the ministry or agency's performance, their leadership assessment in regards to the implementation of initiatives, and the public perception towards the cabinet.

The online survey is broken up into two sections — the respondent demographics and the evaluation of the ministers themselves

The survey itself takes five minutes to complete.

Users who decide to take the survey will have the option of answering the questions in either English or Bahasa Melayu. However, users will be required to provide their email addresses and fill in a captcha code provided before starting the questionnaire.

Participants will also need to provide basic information on themselves, including their age range, race, and gender.

Beyond answering a set of questions listed by the department, users will also have a chance to write their own personal comments on the minister being evaluated

Users will be required to answer a series of questions and provide a rating for each of them on a scale of one to 10.

Among some of the questions asked include whether the minister defines a clear and concise direction to achieve planned objectives, if they make an effort to listen to citizens, and if they project a positive charisma when engaging with citizens.
