It's the end of the year, and time to clear those annual leaves!

KTM Berhad (KTMB) is offering a special train service from KL Sentral to Hat Yai, Thailand, for three weekends in December.

As everyone gears up for the holiday season, KTMB announced on Facebook that they will be arranging special trips for holiday-goers to travel from KL Sentral to Hat Yai for only RM75 one-way or RM150 for a round-trip.

The 'MySawasdee' trains will operate on these dates:
- 9 December (Friday) to 13 December (Tuesday)
- 23 December (Friday) to 26 December (Tuesday)
- 30 December (Friday) to 2 January (Tuesday)

All the trains will be leaving Kuala Lumpur at 10.10pm on Fridays, and come back just after midnight on Tuesdays

This means travellers will be able to spend about two and a half days to explore Hat Yai.

The special trains will also be making less stops than the regular ETS trains, which means that passengers will not only be saving on train fares, but also on travelling time.

If you want to extend your holiday, you may also choose not to follow this promotional schedule and buy a later ETS train ticket home.

You can buy tickets on the KTMB Mobile app or on their official website.

Select 'KL Sentral' as your origin station and 'Hat Yai' as your destination, then choose the dates in December to automatically redeem the deal, either at RM75 for one-way or at RM150 for a round trip.

If you are looking to travel on different dates, you can also take the ETS from Kuala Lumpur to Perlis, then hop on the RM6 train to Hat Yai:
