In collaboration with artist Alice Chang from Lai Lai Art Studio, the team behind Kwai Chai Hong set up this art installation as a way to play on perspectives using lights and shadows.

Inspired by recent events that have affected society globally, mainly the pandemic, Chang wanted to bring a positive message of perseverance and hope through this piece.

At its centre are the 'Giant Rabbit Sculpture' and 'Chaser Rabbits' features, in reference to the earlier lantern designs set up for the Mid-Autumn Festival

Using metal wires, Chang constructed a cage, spanning 8ft and 5ft in size respectively, and secured square-shaped holographic materials to create a unique illusion through its reflected image.

Whether you're sitting or walking through them, the holographic structures are totally picture-worthy!

By day, the structures reflect in the sunlight to create colourful patterns. And by night, they look equally as stunning.
