Malaysia Day and the Prophet Muhammad's birthday both fall on Monday, 16 September, but that does not mean the following day, Tuesday, 17 September, is also automatically a holiday
According to a post by Ministry of Human Resources published yesterday, 8 August, even though 17 September is not a public holiday, private companies can choose to declare it or any other day as a replacement off day.

So, if you want to know whether 17 September will be an extra holiday for you, it's best to check with your company's HR
