TikTok Awards Malaysia 2024 Is Back With New Categories And Lots Of Exciting Segments
New dreams, new stars!
The TikTok Awards is back, and it's bigger and more inspirational than ever!

TikTok Malaysia is gearing up for its second TikTok Awards Malaysia, happening on 11 August at Dewan Merdeka, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. This year's theme is 'Celebrating New Dreams', and it's all about honouring local creators and their amazing work, while showcasing Malaysian culture to the world.
Since the first awards last year, many creators have made big strides in their careers, thanks to the platform

Yin Yin Hooi, SEA Program & Marketing Insight Lead at TikTok, said, "This year, we truly aim to encapsulate the spirit of our diverse and talented community during the TikTok Awards Malaysia 2024!
"Themed 'Celebrating New Dreams', we are committed to realising the aspiration of our creators by providing a platform where their creativity and positive presence can flourish.
"TikTok Malaysia is proud to support our local community by fostering a platform for creators to inspire and connect."
The awards will have two main parts — Judge's Pick and People's Choice

The Judge's Pick will be decided by a panel including Khairul Aming, Angga Anugrah Putra (TikTok’s General Manager of Content Operations for Southeast Asia), and Puan Nini Yusof (CEO of Media Prima TV Networks and Primeworks Studios). They'll pick winners in categories including Entertainment, Animation, Gaming, Food, Education, Sports, and Beauty & Fashion.
For the People's Choice segment, you can vote for your favourite creators from 25 July to 9 August here. Don't forget to do your part, hehe!
It doesn't stop there. There's also a new award this year — 'Changemaker of the Year' — honouring creators who've made a significant impact on their communities.
The event will be hosted by Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim and Janna Nick
TikTok stars Ceddy Ang and Ain Edruce will be on the red carpet, while Eima Safuan and Daniel Fong will handle backstage hosting. Expect performances from Aina Abdul, Naim Daniel, Aisha Retno, Sarah Suhairi, Amir Jahari, and more.
