And since we can't café hop now, these baristas have converted their coffee shops into mobile cafés so you can drive-thru and get your kopi.
We've compiled a list of places for avid coffee-lovers:
1. Ariff's Coffee First @ Negeri Sembilan
This Kia Sportage 'Café' in Seremban is the first car boot café in Malaysia and is run by a 47-year-old army veteran from Kuala Kangsar, Perak. Known for his caramel latte and mocha, Ariff learned the art of coffee-making through the Internet and by watching YouTube videos. He even put his carpentry skills to use by customising himself a whole coffee bar into his car boot.

2. Kopi Kupi @ Johor
This car boot café is run by a father-daughter duo who were inspired by the Indonesian street coffee culture. Only selling no-frill espresso based coffee, they honed their skills by attending a basic local barista course. This 'Car of Caffeine' is dubbed to be the second car boot café in Malaysia and are well-known for their double macchiato with hazelnut syrup and caramel sauce drizzle.

3. Bitter Sweet by Arong Nasik @ Pahang
Started by selling Nasi Dagang every weekend during the first MCO, this couple decided to try their hand in the art of artisanal coffee making after they heard of Ariff's Coffee First. Their bestsellers are iced coffee mocha latte and iced coffee latte.

4. Kopi Rey @ Johor
Kopi Rey actually experimented and researched for two years to curate the perfect coffee recipe, before opening their business which is now five months old. Inspired by his travels abroad, the owner decided to introduce the street coffee culture in Malaysia, as a part-time job, using his bright yellow Proton Juara. He recommends their signature Dalgona Candy Latte, Toffee Nut Latte, and Caramel Macchiato.

5. Caffea Coffee @ Terengganu
This car boot café is run by a Biology tuition teacher with two young kids! She chose to give her passion for coffee-making a try earlier this year and has been receiving good feedback from the community. She recommends the salted caramel latte as she uses her own homemade salted caramel sauce.

6. VAN'S St. Coffee @ Kelantan
VAN'S St. Coffee started their car boot café earlier this year with a catchy branding and bright red van. Their Toffee Nut and Mocha drinks are crowd favourites, as many loyal customers keep returning for more.

7. Sista Home Brew @ Kuala Lumpur
Sista Home Brew started operating their mobile café in several temporary locations before the MCO and have plans to drive across Malaysia to offer people outside of Klang Valley a chance to try their artisanal coffee. Their best sellers are Ferrero Salted Caramel, Caramel Macchiato, and Concentrated Coffee.
