Located at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, it is an educational programme held during the Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (AKM) event until 12 December.
There are 20 public universities involved in the programme, which also includes talkshows, performances, and lucky draws for students.
20-year-old Nadhira Azahira, a diploma student currently undergoing her final year at Politeknik Nilai in Negeri Sembilan, said the event provided useful information to help her decide which university she should apply to

"I was told by my friends there would be a programme for students here. True enough, at this event, I was able to speak to university representatives.
"The university that I am considering also set up a booth at the event, and I managed to ask questions about their courses.
"This is much better than browsing through the Internet. Since I will spend the next four years at university, this programme gives me an opportunity to consider all the available options out there, even though I already have a list of universities to apply to," she said.
Another 20-year old, Afham Ahmad, was on the lookout for universities to pursue his degree
"It is still too early for me to apply, as I am still undergoing my diploma at a private university, but it wouldn’t hurt to check out what universities have to offer such as scholarships and other programmes.
"What I am looking for is to learn more about the universities through their representatives here, as this would help me plan my education.
"So far, there are more public universities here, such as Universiti Malaya, which is one of the top institutions in the country. So, I would like to know more about them," he said.
Major Noorasma Ahmad, the representative from Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM), said after two years of curbs on physical events due to the COVID-19, the AKM event gave universities a platform to engage with potential students

"We have several physical activities the students must partake in, and because of the pandemic, we are facing challenges to get them to undergo the necessary activities.
"Starting today, UPNM has two booths, one for the intake of cadets and another for normal intake students.
"We would like advise students who are hoping to apply to UPNM especially as a cadet to be ready both physically and mentally, as we are considered as one of the frontliners of the country.
"I would like to encourage everyone to visit our booths to learn more about UPNM. We are prepared for any questions," she said.
Associate Professor Dr Aini Jaapar, the higher education pre-diploma programme director of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), said the event would help tertiary institutions provide detailed information to prospective students
"The event gives an opportunity for UiTM to promote all our programmes for people from all walks of life. We would explain what courses, scholarships, and assistance are available at the university.
"We are so happy and blessed that we are able to meet with the public and we can help candidates to register with UiTM for the March 2022 intake," she said.
Visitors interested in the Jom Masuk IPT programme can attend the event until 10pm on Sunday, 12 December.
Those who prefer to participate virtually can also visit Kemasukan BPKP JPT on Facebook.
