A total of 139 students, teachers, and staff of Sekolah Seri Puteri in Cyberjaya have tested positive for COVID-19, said the Selangor state health department (JKNS)
According to a statement by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on 2 December, JKNS said the index case of the cluster is a teacher from the school.
The teacher experienced symptoms on 22 November and tested positive on 24 November.
The results of their close contact tracing found six students and another teacher positive when the cluster was announced on 29 November as the Persiaran Tasik cluster.
Since then, a total of 139 people — including 114 students, 15 teachers, and 10 staff — have tested positive for COVID-19
Since the cluster was identified, a total of 946 people in the school have been screened as of noon today, 2 December.
The positive cases have since been directed to the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) COVID-19 quarantine and low-risk treatment centre (PKRC) for treatment.
Meanwhile, close contacts who tested negative have been placed at other government quarantine stations.
MOH said all 139 who tested positive are in stable condition and that the cases are mostly asymptomatic or only have mild symptoms.

The outbreak at the all-girls boarding school initially went viral on social media, causing much concern as parents wondered if their children could return home
The concern drew the attention of Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin and Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on Twitter.
Radzi visited the school on Wednesday night, 1 December, to check on the situation.
"This is the first time a boarding school has reported these many cases. Pray that all affairs will be eased," said Radzi's communication team.
Meanwhile, Khairy said his ministry will continue to monitor and provide treatment to the patients as best as they can.
"Vaccinate and practice #TRIIS (Test, Report, Isolate, Inform, Seek). This is part of living with COVID-19. Robust risk assessment and quickly isolate," he tweeted.
