16-Year-Old Dies During A 'Haunted House' Experience At A Famous Resort In Bentong

A 16-year-old Malaysian died from a heart attack after entering a 'haunted house' attraction in Pahang last Wednesday, 1 December
According to Kosmo, the teen went to a resort in Bentong with his family for a holiday.
It is understood that the teen suddenly fell and lost consciousness due to shock while he was in the 'haunted house' experience at the resort.

The incident was captured in an almost three-minute long video, which has gone viral on Facebook
The video begins with individuals — believed to be the teen's family members — checking on him while he is lying on the ground.
After realising something is amiss, they carry him out of the haunted house to an open space.
"Tolong, tolong, ada orang pengsan (Help, help, someone has fainted)," a woman's voice can be heard shouting in the video.
A man can be seen checking the teen's pulse once they exit the 'haunted house'.

Bentong police chief Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said the case has been classified as sudden death and the victim's body has been sent to his residence in Melaka
Based on the autopsy, Zaiham said that the teen experienced complications involving a hole in his heart, reported Utusan Malaysia.

A spokesperson from a funeral van service said that the victim's father had requested them to help bring the victim's body back to Melaka for burial at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bukit Baru, reported Kosmo.
