An elderly Cheras resident was found dead in his car minutes after he cast his ballot at the SJKC Batu 11 polling station in the federal constituency
The 79-year-old was believed to have gotten into his car to drive home after voting.
The man, who resided at Batu 9, Cheras, had his finger marked with indelible ink.
Free Malaysia Today reported that while several passers-by noticed something amiss, it was not clear what they had observed about the man. They later called for an ambulance.
Paramedics on the scene confirmed the man was dead
His body was taken to a hospital. The name of the hospital was not reported.
