Dr Adham: More Than 31% Of People In Malaysia Have Received Both Doses Of COVID-19 Vaccine

In terms of numbers, a total of 10,144,199 people in the country have been fully vaccinated as of Friday, 13 August.

As of Friday, 13 August, a total of 31.1% of Malaysia's population or 10,144,199 people have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine

Earlier this morning, 14 August, Health Minister Dr Adham Baba shared an infographic on his official Twitter handle, where he said that 16,707,566 people had received the first dose as of yesterday.

Cumulatively, 26,851,765 doses have been administered as of yesterday

In terms of percentage, 71.4% of the adult population has received the first dose and 43.3% have completed the second dose, a Bernama report said.

On the daily vaccination rate, Dr Adham said 462,860 doses were administered on Friday, with 162,182 being the first dose and 300,678 as the second dose.
