#Lawan Participants Disperse Peacefully After Not Being Allowed To Enter Dataran Merdeka
The organisers said that police have started taking down details of a few people.

Thousands of protesters, who had come dressed in black to march to Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur this morning, have now dispersed
This came after police told the organisers to disperse at 12.35pm
Prior to which, more than two thousand people had gathered in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Many of them carried banners and placards while others were carrying black flags.
The people were protesting their dissatisfaction against the government for its alleged failure in handling the COVID-19 pandemic and demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The participants dispersed after they were not allowed to enter Dataran Merdeka due to police having cordoned off multiple roads
Sekretariat Solidariti Rakyat (SSR), a coalition of youth and civil society groups, initially held a discussion with the authorities and it appeared that the participants will be allowed to enter the historic square.
However, they were still barred from entry, so they sat on the main road and began chanting.
