"What's So Rude?" — Man Lashes Out After Being Told Not To Smoke At Mamak Restaurant
The man was smoking right behind another customer and was not pleased when he was asked to stop.
A man recently went viral after a video of him yelling at another customer at a mamak restaurant was shared on Twitter
In the 47-second clip, the man can be seen standing and confronting the other customer angrily while pointing his fingers at him.
It is alleged that he was told not to smoke at the restaurant. In the video, he can be seen asking the customer who was sitting down: "Are you an officer? This mamak didn't even dare to stop me."
He then told another man, who appeared to be intervening in the fight, that he was not bothering the customer.
"I just asked you to stop smoking here, but why are you being so loud? You're the one acting rude," said the man who was sitting down.

Enraged by the response, the man continued to attack him verbally
"What's so rude? You don't try to overdo it!" he exclaimed.
The video then cuts to the person who was filming the scene explaining what had occurred.
According to him, the man was sitting right behind him and his friend who had told the man off.
He then pointed out that there was a no-smoking sign pasted on the table where the man was smoking at.
"Aiya, the world we live in ah," he said.

Responding to the viral video, the Ministry of Health (MOH) replied to the tweet and said that they are aware of the situation
"We take note and appreciate your concern," the ministry tweeted.
At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 7,500 retweets and over 5.7 million views, with Malaysians praising the men for calling out the smoker at the restaurant.
