Minister of Communications and Multimedia Saifuddin Abdullah has tested positive for COVID-19 and is being home-quarantined
The test results came in last night, 28 April, according to his office.
The Ministry of Health will be closely monitoring Saifuddin as he waits to be warded in a hospital, the minister's office said in a statement
Bernama today, 29 April reported that most private hospitals, especially in the Klang Valley, no longer have room to accept COVID-19 patients due to the recent spike in cases.
As per Saifuddin's social media accounts, his last public appearance was in Kuantan, Pahang on 24 April where he attended two events
