Earlier today, 7 November, MySejahtera issued a statement saying that random people were incorrectly placed home surveillance orders (HSO) and persons under surveillance (PUS) due to a glitch on its app

According to the statement, MySejahtera has now fixed the issue.

"All incorrect HSOs have been deleted, and incorrect PUS status reverted," the statement read.

However, SAYS copy editor Alyssa J. Oon has tweeted to say that her incorrect PUS status is still showing up on the app

She has reached out to the MySejahtera help desk for assistance but has not heard back yet.

Alyssa shared that she has tried logging out and signing back in only to still see the PUS status.

According to her, the same issue is being faced by her mother and a friend's mother.

It is unclear how many MySejahtera users have been affected

As of this writing, there has been no further statement from the MOH and MySejahtera.

Additionally, no explanation has been offered in the initial statement about what caused the error.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 self-test kits are sale for under RM7:
