A driver in Johor Bahru was recently involved in a freak accident where his Perodua Myvi 'flew' across a drain
According to Berita Harian, the incident took place at Iskandar Puteri around 3am on Monday, 22 March.
A video of the accident scene went viral on Facebook. The clip uploaded by popular Facebook page Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS, garnered over 112,000 views and 1,600 comments.

Iskandar Puteri district police chief ACP Dzulkhairi Mukhtar confirmed with the Malay daily that the driver was a 27-year-old male and eight firemen were dispatched to the scene to rescue him.
He said, "Investigations found that the accident was caused by the driver losing control of the vehicle while at a roundabout. The driver, driving in a straight direction, crashed through the bushes before crossing the huge drain and hitting a tree."
"Due to the crash, the driver's foot was stuck and firefighters had to rescue him from the vehicle. The driver was neither drunk nor under the influence of drugs," he added.
The victim sustained injuries to his face, hands, and feet
Harian Metro reported that he was rushed to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital in an ambulance.
The case is being investigated according to Rule 10 LN166/59.
