Two Facebook posts by SEGi University & Colleges on 3 June have recently drawn flak for publicly revealing termination details of two employees
The Facebook posts shared the faces of the two terminated employees with a brief explanation on why they were dismissed.
Both employees were terminated on the grounds of "compromising private intellectual property and unethical acts" involving the PhD candidates' examinations.
The posts go on to explain that a police report has been lodged against the two professors and legal actions are being taken.

The comments section under the posts have since been flooded with criticism of the SEGi University management's unprofessionalism and unethical handling of the matter
A Facebook user commented that the issue should have been handled as a private matter instead of being posted on social media.
"This is so unethical! Please raise the standards of your HR staffs. Domestic Inquiry (DI) investigations need to be handled in private with confidentiality and not published on any social websites!" commented another user.

Some Facebook users also expressed how the post is humiliating and could severely damage the reputation of the two employees.
A netizen said that the employees has the rights to undergo the due processes of the law and does not deserve to be publicly humiliated like this.
"Totally unprofessional on SEGi's part. Innocent until proven guilty. Venting on social media is uncalled for and degrading someone is unbecoming. Imagine the effect on him and his family!" commented another user.
