The police are tracking down a man who was caught on video hurling profanities at a DUKE highway toll plaza employee

According to The Star, Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said the 20-year-old victim lodged a police report about the incident on Sunday, 21 April.

The toll booth employee said the incident occurred when the Honda Civic driver could not pass through the toll because he had insufficient balance on his Touch 'n Go card.

The man then started scolding the employee for asking him to pay via debit or credit card because there wasn't a top up lane.

"It occurred as seen in the viral video," Rusdi said at a press conference today, 24 April.

The viral video of the incident was uploaded to X by the employee's brother

In the 27-second video, the driver could be heard saying, "Do you want me to slap you? I slap people every day, you know? You're so bothersome."

"It's because you're stupid that you're working at a toll.

"If you're smart, you wouldn't be working at a toll," he added.

The police said they have identified the 60-year-old suspect and are tracking him down for arrest.
