"For the sake of the people and the country."
Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) have agreed to form, as of this writing, state governments in Perak and Pahang
This comes after the 15th General Election (GE15) results did not produce any clear winners.
In Perak, PH won 24 seats, followed by Perikatan Nasional with 26, and BN with nine.
In Pahang, PN won 17 seats, BN won 16, and PH won eight.
PH has confirmed the matter
In a statement today, both coalitions have secured 33 majority state seats in Perak.
"For the sake of the people and the country, Perak BN and PH have agreed to form the state government and detailed information will be announced in the near future," New Straits Times reported.
