"She's Well-Received Here" – PN Announces Rina Harun As #GE15 Candidate For Sepang

In the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15), Datuk Seri Rina Harun, head of Perikatan Nasional's (PN) women's wing, Wanita Perikatan Nasional, will run for the Sepang parliamentary seat

PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced her candidacy at the Jelajah Prihatin Parlimen Sepang programme in Sepang yesterday, 31 October, reported Bernama.

Previously, Rina ran for the Titiwangsa parliamentary seat under Pakatan Harapan in GE14.

Muhyiddin said that Rina is the appropriate candidate to run for the Sepang seat as she is well-received by the community there

Rina expressed her appreciation to the PN leadership for entrusting her with serving as the coalition's voice in GE15.

"I accept this as a [sign of] trust and responsibility to ensure that Sepang will deliver one seat for PN to form a government on 19 November," she said.

Rina will be facing a multi-cornered fight against Amanah's Raj Muni Aiman Athirah and Pejuang's Datin Paduka Che Asmah Ibrahim, reported Utusan Malaysia.
