Seremban Policeman And 7-Year-Old Son Found Dead In Suspected Murder-Suicide

The cop was believed to have used a weapon belonging to the force in the incident.

A police officer in Seremban was recently found dead in a car with his seven-year-old son

According to The Star, their bodies were found in Taman Sentosa Jaya on Thursday, 26 March.

Seremban district police chief ACP Mohd Said Ibrahim said, "The team reached the scene around 6.55pm and found the policeman and his son dead in a Proton Wira."

The cop and his son were found with gunshot wounds to their heads.

Authorities believe that the man shot his son first and then died by suicide.

Talking to Sinar Harian, Mohd Said noted that the incident is believed to have been a murder-suicide and the man used a weapon belonging to the force.

He also added that the deceased is a policeman with the rank of corporal from the Seremban District Police Headquarters.

The reason behind the suspected murder-suicide is still under investigation

Meanwhile, Bernama reported that the case has been classified as sudden death and will be investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
