Jeram assemblyman Mohd Shaid Rosli is on the hunt for a specific RM1 note and is willing to pay good money for it

On Wednesday, 19 May, Mohd Shaid took uploaded a photo on Facebook along with a caption that read, "Try looking at the RM1 notes you have. If any of them have the same signature as the photo below, I will buy it for RM1,000."

The post has since garnered over 1,300 shares and 1,200 likes.

The RM1 note he's looking for is signed by the Central Bank of Malaysia's sixth governor, Tan Sri Dr Ali Abul Hassan Sulaiman

"If it's in good condition, I will purchase it for RM2,000. If it's as good as the photo, I will buy it for RM3,000," he added.

In another post, the assemblyman revealed that his hobbies include collecting antiques and old items. Besides banknotes, he also collects vintage household items such as clocks, radios, and sewing kits.
