Uni Student Allegedly Falls To Death While Trying To Retrieve Clothes From Condo Balcony
Two witnesses saw the victim attempting to retrieve a piece of clothing before he fell off the balcony.
A university student allegedly died in a fall while attempting to retrieve a piece of clothing that was stuck on the balcony of his condominium unit in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, 26 December
According to Buletin TV3, the victim was an 18-year-old student who resided on the 34th floor of a condominium on Jalan Raja Abdullah, Kampung Baru.
Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Noor Dellhan Yahaya said that the police received a distress call about the incident at 8.17pm.
"Based on investigations and statements from two witnesses, the [victim] was said to be attempting to retrieve a piece of clothing that had fallen onto the edge of the balcony.
"He was reported to have climbed onto a table and then scaled the balcony railing, but lost balance and fell," the New Straits Times quoted Dellhan as saying.

The victim's body was found on a lower floor of the 39-storey condominium
The district police chief said the body has been sent to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine (IPFN) at Kuala Lumpur Hospital for further investigation.
