[VIDEO] Patients Confront Serdang Hospital Staff After Waiting 11 Hours For Service
One patient pointed out that the staff were on their phones and ignored them for hours.
A TikTok video showing a group of people shouting at Serdang Hospital staff for failing to attend to them on time recently went viral on social media
In the 27-second clip shared by TikTok user @bisma_ali05, a group of men can be heard yelling and confronting the employees at the hospital's cardiology clinic waiting room.
"My 73-year-old mum has been waiting for so long. She's not a child!" a man yells.
"These sick people are dying, you know!" another man shouts.
A staff member then comes out to address the situation, but while doing so, one of the men points out that his colleagues have been on their phones and ignoring them for hours.
They continue to shout at the staff and tell the man that they have all been waiting for too long.
The video's caption alleges that the incident occurred after several patients had to wait from 8am to 7pm, but had yet to be attended to by the doctors there.

SAYS has reached out to Serdang Hospital for a statement regarding the matter and has yet to receive a response.
In wake of many recent reports, Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa recently addressed the issue of overcrowding in government hospital emergency departments (ED)
She said a recent visit to a busy ED at a hospital in Klang Valley recently found that most issues arose from delayed admissions.
"Many issues are inherited and systemic, but some can be tackled at a local level with sufficient engagement," she said in a Facebook post today, 7 February.
Therefore, she said the MOH is looking into resolving the issues and working on solutions both internally and in their ongoing discussion with the Ministry of Finance (MOF).
She also acknowledged that frontliners have been going above and beyond the call of duty since the pandemic and are still continuing to do so.
