Containing screenshots from a WhatsApp conversation, a following tweet explains that the motorcyclist had faulty brakes and lost control of the bike

A man in the conversation claimed to be a friend of the victim.

"While riding the bike, the brake suddenly felt loose. He pressed the rear brake to a maximum and dropped the gear to the first gear. But there was not enough time," he wrote.

He then added that the rider broke his shoulder but survived the accident.
