The Toyota Camry cut across two lanes as it made a U-turn into ongoing traffic before crashing into a motorcyclist who was riding on the edge of the left lane.

Sinar Harian reported that the footage was caught in front of a school near Jalan Parit Ibrahim.

Despite the fact that a loud bang was heard and the motorcyclist was seen being flung to the ground, the Toyota Camry did not stop to check on the victim

While the vehicle with the dashcam tried to give it a chase, the hit-and-run driver managed to speed away from the scene.

When contacted by Sinar Harian, Pontian District Police Superintendent Mustafa Bakri Salleh said the police are aware of the incident

However, Mustafa said his department has yet to receive any reports about the accident.

The owner of the dashcam video, Eyka Azmi, told SAYS that she has given the dashcam video to the police

Eyka related that her husband Azry was driving during the incident.

When asked if she had lodged a police report, she said she only submitted the high-definition dashcam video to the police, but they did not take down her statement.

According to her, she said the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Johor have called Pontian district police chief to investigate the case.
